Mount Blue State Park - Soil and Natural Resource Workshop

The Maine Association of Professional Soil Scientists in conjunction with the Maine Association of Wetland Scientists, Maine Association of Site Evaluators and Soil Science Society of Northern New England held a workshop focusing on soils and natural resources. As in the past, this workshop combined soil evaluation with natural resource identification and regulation issues.

MAWS After Dark - Tick Talk II

April 10th, 2013, 6pm-8pm at the Captain Daniel Stone Inn, Brunswick, Maine

Sara Robinson, MPH, an Epidemiologist with the Maine Center For Disease Control presented information on ticks, Lyme disease, and other tick- and  vector-borne diseases (e.g., mosquitos).  Topics included tick biology and ecology; Lyme disease, prevention and treatment; and other vector-borne diseases in Maine.  She discussed recent epidemiological trends with Lyme disease.

Maine Association of Wetland Scientists Ethics Workshop
